The 20 Best Wii U Games

Both its predecessor (Wii) and its successor (Nintendo Switch) sold millions of units, a figure that this underrated platform didn't even come close to achieving. However, it would be a huge mistake to underestimate this console's catalog, as it's packed with true gems that defined a generation and, in many cases, exceeded the expectations of all Nintendo gamers. That's why today I'm bringing you a new Nintendo top 20 list in which I analyze the 20 best Wii U video games. A series of titles that shone so brightly that many of them were adapted for the Switch (and even sold more on that console). In this top 10, I'm highlighting video games like Mario Kart 8, which revolutionized our favorite plumber's racing with the introduction of anti-gravity, and Bayonetta 2, a hack & slash that refined its predecessor's formula with much more fluid, frenetic, and even... absurd combat! We'll also talk about masterpieces like Super Smash Bros., which brought together a massive cast of playable characters (and was only surpassed by its successor, Ultimate, on Nintendo Switch).
