Giuseppe Arcimboldo (1526 or 1527 – 1593) was a court painter for three Holy Roman Emperors in Vienna and Prague. He had a brilliant idea that was ahead of its time: to combine portraits and still lives. This idea inspired the Surrealists of the 20th century. Antonio Lucio Vivaldi (1678 – 1741) was a composer, virtuoso violinist and impresario of Baroque music. He pioneered many developments in orchestration and violin technique. "The Four Seasons" ("Le quattro stagioni") is a group of four violin concertos. These were composed around 1718−1720, when Vivaldi was the court chapel master in Mantua.
