The necromorph outbreak has found its way here, too, but this time Isaac is witness from the very beginning. Since the release of Dead Space in October 2008, Visceral Games and EA released 2 additional games and movies leading up to the events of Dead Space 2. In storyline chronological order, the series to this point is: • Dead Space: Martyr (novel) • Dead Space: Catalyst (novel) • Dead Space (comic) • Dead Space Downfall (movie) & Dead Space Extraction (video game) — happen simultaneously • Dead Space (video game) • Dead Space: Aftermath (movie) • Dead Space: Ignition (video game) • Dead Space (mobile device game) • Dead Space 2: Severed (video game DLC) — begins just before Dead Space 2 and continues in parallel with Isaac Clarke's experiences • Dead Space 2 (video game) Controls seem to be mostly the same as in the first Dead Space game, but the action is a little faster paced. When a mysterious woman named "Daina" tells Isaac she might have a cure for his dementia, he feels he may have no choice but to follow her instructions. But trust doesn't come easily, especially after his experience on the USG Ishimura. Will Isaac be able to stop the spread of the necromorph plague and escape the station alive?
