Twisted | Piano, Sax, and Vocal Cover - Smooth Jazz Music

Here's my take on Wardell Gray and Annie Ross' 'Twisted', recorded live at Mr. Vain   / mrvainbrisbane   and featuring Mason Harvey on tenor sax   / masonhjazz   Annie Ross wrote this vocalese tune based on a solo by saxophonist Wardell Gray. She first recorded it in 1952, and after forming a vocalese trio with Dave Lambert and Jon Hendricks, recorded the tune with them in 1960. It has since also been covered by Mark Murphy, Bette Midler, and Marlena Shaw, among others.
