GTA 5 – Mission: Hood Safari Characters Involved: Franklin, Lamar, Trevor --- Mission Overview: This is a story mission in Grand Theft Auto V where Franklin and Lamar team up with Trevor to make a drug deal in Grove Street — but things quickly go wrong. --- How to Start: Unlocked by: Completing the mission “Friends Reunited” Starting location: Strawberry, Franklin’s aunt’s house --- Mission Steps: 1. Go to Grove Street After a cutscene, Franklin, Lamar, and Trevor drive to Grove Street in South Los Santos to meet with the Ballas gang. 2. The Drug Deal Lamar arranges a deal to buy some cocaine, but it turns out to be a setup. The Ballas betray them, and a big gunfight breaks out. 3. Shootout with the Ballas Take cover behind cars and walls. Use automatic weapons to clear out Ballas on the ground and rooftops. 4. Escape the Area Once enough enemies are down, the trio escapes through the nearby houses and alleys. The police get involved — a 3-star wanted level begins. 5. Lose the Cops Use the nearby jet skis at the river to escape by water. Avoid police boats and helicopters until your wanted level disappears. 6. Mission Ends Once the heat dies down, the mission ends with Trevor dropping off Lamar and Franklin.
