A solo adventure motorcycle ride from Somerset West to Stilbaai via the legendary Malgas Ferry. Episode 1 of Reset Routes follows gravel roads, coastal landscapes and a stop at Grunters Restaurant & Pub before reaching Skilpadbessie Eco Camp. Reset Routes is a motorcycle journey series about slowing down, exploring back roads, and finding clarity through the ride. In this first episode I leave Somerset West and head toward Stilbaai, riding through beautiful Western Cape countryside, crossing the Breede River on the historic Malgas Ferry, and stopping at Grunters Restaurant & Pub just before entering Malgas. The ride ends at Skilpadbessie Eco Camp – a peaceful destination on the coast and the perfect place to reset after a long day in the saddle.
