Step 3: Next, count three more half steps from E. You’ll land on G. Congratulations, you’ve just built a C major chord! 🎉 Need another example? Let’s go with A: Step 1: Start with A as your root note. Step 2: Count four half steps to get to C sharp—your major third. Step 3: Now, count three more half steps from C sharp to reach E.
