Teen will "interact with townsfolk, engage in activities, and discover secrets" along the way. The developer and publisher have also described the title as a "life-sim". I had a lot of fun with this game. "to a T", is a sort of life-sim-story-adventure that's a coming of age story for a kid who's stuck in a permanent T-pose. The story takes turns I never expected and it has an undeniable charm and weirdness to it. It's definitely not for everyone, but I enjoyed it for the type of game it is. It's full of soul and charm, and more than anything that's what will keep you playing. The optimization still needs a lot of work, which hindered my experience at times. For example, the autoscroll on subtitles sometimes goes way too fast so you have to turn it off. Or the camera focuses on weird spots where it makes most of the screen blurry. And I had an almost game breaking bug on the last episode that I finally cleared by pure luck. I'm sure all those things will be patched in due time, but must be mentioned right now.
