For our first #MovieCrushMonday, we shone our spotlight on the adventure film, "Wendy". The classic story of Peter Pan is wildly reimagined in this ragtag epic from Benh Zietlin, director of Beasts of the Southern Wild. Lost on a mysterious island where aging and time have come unglued, Wendy must fight to save her family, her freedom and the joyous spirit of young from the deadly peril of growing up. Fun Fact: A young Antiguan from the Nyabinghi Tribe is starring as Peter Pan! Yashwa Mack was discovered during the extensive Caribbean-wide casting search and has already made a huge impression from his appearance in the trailer.
