Here’s my one-take, unedited cover of James Hetfield's lovely melodic solo from "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica. While Kirk Hammett usually handles lead duties in the band, this is one of those special moments where James Hetfield steps in, and when he does, his solos are really tasteful, and incredibly expressive. In this performance, I aim to stay close to the original while focusing on capturing the feel, tone, and subtle phrasing that make this solo so memorable.
