♥︎Even though Ying likes Jay, she still really cares for Diana, they are practically like sisters. The only reason why she even went to their timeline was to protect Diana, since it's her mission. But when she realized why Diana needed protecting she couldn't handle the pain, she couldn't handle the horrors Diana had to go through. Diana was such a kind and caring person...she didn't deserve to be killed so brutally. She hated it, knowing that she wasn't able to save her so many times. She knew how much Jay cared for Diana, how much Kaito cared, how much everybody cared for her, she couldn't let this future happen, if it meant sacrificing herself♥︎ I know this video is a bit rushed but I just wanted to get this piece of lore out since I make it look like Ying is jealous of Diana and wants to get rid of her. (Anyways, the reason why Diana dies is because of Kaito's plan to use her as a sacrifice to gain the immortality power, since the gem can only be found inside her throat, Kimena and the guards without the help of Kaito ripped her mouth open and you get the rest. Kaito was distraught finding out about what really happened, both Kaito and Jay were heartbroken to the point they were left broken, emotionless and depressed for the rest of eternity. Luckily, a future organization ordered a ninja to go stop the murder of Diana. Ying was that ninja, as soon as she met Diana, she was heartbroken to know the truth, she tried hiding it from her, she didn't want to worry her. But deep down, she would always cry when talking to Diana, even if she was laughing with her, she just acted like everything was fine. As if she wasn't going to die in a few days, Ying was severely traumatised watching Diana die so many times...especially with how brutal her death was each time she witnessed it...Ying couldn't resist anymore and she let it all out to Diana...)
