But he is a character that grows to be a likable dude. This is Lee Chaolan. Lee's story is that he was adopted by Heihachi to be a rival for Kazuya. He became a Mishima... but Lee wasn't a loyal Mishima. He hated Heihachi as much as he hated Kazuya. He couldn't beat Kazuya in the first tournament and in this one, he lost to Heihachi. Remember: Heihachi's ending is canon. He beat Lee and in turn, he was expelled from the Mishima Zaibatsu for siding with Kazuya. Truth is, he only did it to stop Kazuya with the help of Wang. But his story didn't end there. He would reappear in Tekken 4 onward and would actually grow to be a likable character.
