Is Alyssa Ashcroft the stalker in Resident Evil Requiem that chases Grace Ashcroft?

After watching the gameplay footage of Resident Evil Requiem from Gamescom I'm wondering if the stalker that chases Grace is her mother Alyssa. Or at least some remnant of Alyssa. It would certainly up the the ante on the trauma she is dealing with. Additionally I hope she does not end up like Miss Dimitrescu from Resident Evil 8 where she is advertised as if she is a big part of the game just for her to be a boss that's barely in a third of the game.
