Schluter mixing valve seal tips…I apply ALL-SET to the wall with a 3” joint compound knife followed by a KERDI trowel. Then I embed the mixing valve seal. The 1/2” rubber gasket protects the exposed KERDI-BOARD edge and prevents water from getting inside the shower wall.
