Don’t mind me in my house, dress, leggings, sweatshirt, and jacket lol it was cold, but since I wasn’t actually milking the cows, I didn’t put my coveralls on. I’m so grateful that we have a Livestock manager now that handles the lions share of the farm chores on a weekly basis. On days like today when he is off and my hubby is gone working Construction I’ll try to do a few things to make Chores easier once he gets home. Don’t get me wrong, I have done pretty much everything we have to do here at the farm other than drive the actual tractor. (I was forced to learn how to operate the lift and skid steer against my will, but I can do it!) my primary job at this point is to run our business, our farmers market, and handle all our social media, marketing, customers, and helpers. It’s definitely a full-time job and I’m grateful that having people to help with the Livestock allows me to focus on the parts that I need to.
