7 Days to Die Alpha 19 | New Version - New Zombie AI Pathfinding needed? @Vedui42
The new Alpha 19 version of 7 Days to Die is looking like a summer release. But how has it changed? What really needs a change to make it better? I take a look at past versions Alpha 16 and Alpha 18 Zombie AI Pathfinding and review various scenarios where it is good, and where it is bad. Comparing these two approaches, I discuss what changes I would like to see in Alpha 19 to make the zombie behave more "realistic" and add to the immersion of the game. I walk through player above and below the zombies. I test out behind walls, with weak entry points, and how the zombies act respectively in Alpha 16 and Alpha 18. What are your thoughts?
