Nuremberg Journalist: Vivien Spitz speaking at the Institute for Hebraic-Christian Studies 2010 Kristallnacht Memorial NUREMBERG TRIAL COURT REPORTER MEETS THE “Doctors from Hell” In late 1946, the US War Department sent a young 22 year old woman to Nuremberg as a court reporter for the Nazi war crimes trials. There was no way Vivien Spitz could anticipate what she experienced as an eye witness to the testimonies of what became known as the “Doctors Trial.” Vivien recorded the stories of 20 doctors who were indicted for cruel experiments on prisoners. Using a powerpoint presentation, Vivien will show you and tell you what she saw and heard during the 19 months she worked in that Nuremberg court room. Now at the young age of 86, Vivien is probably the last court reporter still living. If you know anyone who doubts the reality of the Holocaust, please bring them to hear Vivien’s story.
