Hello everyone, and welcome to America Needs Fatima’s 3-minute Meditation, a special short-video segment where you and I will take about three minutes out of our day to meditate on a special piece of Catholic wisdom. Today’s meditation will be on the Novena to Our Lady of Good Success. This novena prayer is very special because the prophecies of Our Lady of Good Success are for our modern times. We pray together, asking the Mother of God for help with our needs. “In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Hail Mary Most Holy, Beloved Daughter of God the Father, through the intercession of Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres, grant thy good success to this request.... (mention request). Hail Mary Most Holy, Admirable Mother of God the Son, through the intercession of Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres, grant thy good success to this request.... (mention request). Hail Mary Most Holy, Most Faithful Spouse of the Holy Ghost, through the intercession of Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres, grant thy good success to this request.... (mention request). In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.” Now this is only part of the Novena Prayer to Our Lady of Good Success. The original includes an Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, and a “St. Michael, pray for us,” after each petition. The prayer calls to mind the revelations of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who appeared at the end of the 16th century to a Conceptionist nun, Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres, in Quito Ecuador. Our Lady told her that in the 20th century, heresies and abuses would be widespread and manners and customs nearly completely corrupted. But when we have recourse to Our Lady of Good Success, let us remember that she promised consolation and preservation to faithful souls who foster devotion to her.
