Bioshock Remastered - PC Gameplay - Part 4

Easter eggs and secrets about the game: In Fontaine’s office, a poster says: “Better Men Make Better Plasmids.” This is a twist on Andrew Ryan’s famous line, “A man chooses, a slave obeys.” These philosophical contrasts are littered throughout the game. If you die during a fight while protecting a Little Sister (from a Big Daddy you just turned friendly), she'll run to your body and weep over it, even though you're "just" a splicer to her. It’s a haunting, easily missed bit of AI scripting. A full addiction mechanic was planned: the more you used plasmids, the more physically deformed and mentally unstable Jack would become. NPCs would even comment on your appearance. This was scrapped due to balancing issues, but would’ve added a horror-RPG twist. Splicers were originally divided into factions (religious zealots, hedonists, militarized types), each with unique dialogue and combat styles. Remnants of this idea still exist in some audio logs and environmental storytelling. ----------------------------------------------- #bioshock #horrorgaming #immersivegaming #immersivesim #gameplay
