Criterion Sale Haul | Summer 2023

With the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes influencers are discouraged from promoting struck work. Though my channel is small, I want to make sure I'm not doing anything that would go against their efforts. Besides none of these recommendations being very recent/new movies, according to my research all are produced outside the USA and by non-American companies. However, one title has an American production company as distributor and I'm not sure if that counts as struck or not. At the moment it is a little unclear to me what exactly constitutes "struck work." I support the writers and actors fighting for better payment, work, and working situations/contracts! They are integral to the overall entertainment industry and without them the arts of film, theatre, and television are lost.
