Gadd's Briefcase How to Defeat the Maid Boss Return to the Lab Use Gooigi to Escape Basement Gems, Grand Lobby Gems, RIP Suites Gems Once this mission is over and you have Gooigi you'll be able to get the remaining gems in the Basement (B1), Grand Lobby (Fl 1), and all the RIP Suites (Fl 5) gems. Install Elevator Tracker Suction shot this dryer to get the gem. Exit the garage and go to the left. Enter the door which will take you to the laundry room. Once you’re in the laundry room, face the middle washing machine. You’ll notice the gem tumbling around. Shoot the washing machine door with your next suction shot (using Y). Vacuum up the rope until the circle is full, then hit A. This will open the door and reveal the gem. Exit the garage and go to the right until you reach the elevator. Enter the elevator and press X when prompted. This will install the tracker. After this, a brief cutscene will play where you install the elevator buttons you just got from completing the Intro Walkthrough. Suites Blue Gem #3 Move to the right and you’ll be in a sitting room area with a telephone nearby. Notice the vending machine with the green blinking light. Hit the clear part (where you can see the snacks) with the suction shot and pull. This will reveal a door. Head through the door and you’ll be in the laundry room. Look for a panel in the back of the laundry room behind the vending machine on floor 5. Use a suction shot on the panel to reveal the gem. Head down the hall, towards the room with the exclamation mark on the map. It’s in room 508, near the end of the hall. Contact E. Gadd Using the Virtual Boo Pause the game (press the + button) and select the E.Gadd Hotline. After chatting with E.Gadd he’ll tell you to get his briefcase on the 5th Floor. Take the elevator and head there. At this point it’s still best to ignore some of the gems in the basement and Main Lobby (FL1) because you’ll need to unlock Gooigi first. Go to E.Gadd’s Room (508) Once you're on the 5th floor you'll need to get rid of the briefcases blocking your way. Hit them with the suction shot (press Y), suck up the rope, pull back, hit A. How to Beat the Maid Boss As soon as you enter Professor E.Gadd’s room you’ll see the Maid Boss trying to make off with his briefcase. Unfortunately, she swallowed it and fled the scene before you could get a hold of it. Here’s how to beat the Maid Boss. RIP Suites Gem #4 Ruin several statues in the hallway of the bedrooms. Vacuum up the orb from one, and use it to shoot the gargoyle statue holding the gem next to it. On your way to E. Gadd's room suck up the orb on the hand statue (located on the right of the scary woods painting and to the left of the statue with a green gem in its mouth), Shoot the orb at the statue with the gem in its mouth to shatter it and release the gem. How to Beat the Maid Boss First, head next door to room 507. Before you get out of the room you’ll have to fight 3 ghosts but they shouldn’t be a problem. Use the suction shot to hit the briefcase. Then pull so that you can slam the ghost into the ground. You’ll be able to get about 2 hits in before the ghost flies away. Head to room 506 and use the suction shot on the armoire. Repeat the above process. Finally, go to room 505 for the final blows. If you lose track of where the maid has gone, look for her tracks with the dark light. Once the ghost is gone, walk up to the briefcase and pick it up. As soon as you enter Professor E.Gadd’s room you’ll see the Maid Boss trying to make off with his briefcase. Unfortunately, she swallowed it and fled the scene before you could get a hold of it. Here’s how to beat the Maid Boss. Return to the lab. Head to the elevator and go to B1. Optional: Get the final gems in the basement Use the suction shot on this electrical box and flash the light with the strobulb to reveal the gem. After pulling the panel off the box, use the Stobulb to flash the green light. The electricity will power the machine and release a red gem. Basement Gem #2 While still in the garage, move to the far left and up the steps. Activate Gooigi by clicking the right stick. Switch so that you’re controlling Gooigi and use him to smoosh directly through the cage. Walk to the right side of the garage, past the car, to the vent in the wall. Hit it with the Suction Shot to open it up. Walk into it and climb up the ladder.
