This proves that Leon is committed to Requiem. Will he live?

Is Leon really infected? Everything seems to indicate that he is. A few days ago, during the presentation of the new Resident Evil Requiem trailer at The Game Awards, many didn't notice, but apparently Leon has something very strange here, on one side of his neck. While some were focused on Leon's beard and new look, they didn't see anything at all. They only noticed L.S. Kennedy's little beard! But not as much as they imagined... But soon after, the internet exploded. People on social media started noticing this strange thing on his neck, as if it were a bite or one of the first symptoms that appear on the skin when you're first infected with this new virus. We also have this moment in the trailer where it seems that Leon is analyzing images of hands with the same infection he appears to have, as if he's seeing what awaits him. So now I'm very worried that Leon will be gone forever in this new installment and that we'll never be able to use him again. It would be a shame, and I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. What do you all think? Although, well, it's not the first time Leon has been infected; he's had plague viruses in his veins before, so on that front, at least I have a little faith. I just hope that if Leon leaves us in this new installment, it's for a very good cause and that it's very well justified. That remains to be seen.
