Super Mario Galaxy 2 Playthrough Part 20

Super Mario Galaxy 2 Playthrough Part 20

In this part, we get the last few Green Stars, along with the final two Power Stars, giving us all 242 Power Stars. These are the Green Stars and Power Stars obtained in this part: Rolling Coaster Galaxy - Green Star 2: Near the end of the track, stay to the right so you roll into the pit and grab the Star. Your aiming has to be pretty precise. Twisty Trials Galaxy - Green Star 1: You'll see the shining of this one near the first Cloud Flower. Grab it, then use Long Jumps and clouds to reach the Star and grab it. Twisty Trials Galaxy - Green Star 2: This one is near the Comet Medal. Long Jump and make clouds to reach this Star, which is far to the right. Stone Cyclone Galaxy - Green Star 1: You need to do a Triple Jump to reach this one. It's easier to do as Luigi. Just be careful that you don't get crushed by a Tox Box. Stone Cyclone Galaxy - Green Star 2: Near the end of the planet is the Star. Do a Long Jump to reach it, but be careful, or else you'll fall into the black hole. Boss Blitz Galaxy - Green Star 1: This one is under the tree on Major Burrows' planet. Just grab it. Boss Blitz Galaxy - Green Star 2: When battling Bouldergeist, jump out of the arena and into the Star. Flip-Out Galaxy - Green Star 1: In the very first section, get to the top of the structure to the right of the Warp Pipe, then drop to the Star. Flip-Out Galaxy - Green Star 2: This one has you being chased by Cosmic Clones (which also means this is the only Green Star that takes place in a Prankster Comet mission). It is near the end of the stage, to the right of the last blue wall. Don't spin until you pass it, or else the wall will block the Star. The Ultimate Test: After collecting the first 240 Stars, Grandmaster Galaxy will open up. It consists of this stage, which consists of many trials that you've faced earlier in the game. The first section tests your skills with Yoshi, your second one tests your speed, the third one tests your skills with Cloud Mario (or Luigi), the fourth one tests your skill with timing and switching platforms, the fifth one tests your timing with Pull Stars, and the last one tests your skill with combat against Hammer Bros. and Boomerang Bros. Be sure to get the Comet Medal here. The Perfect Run: After putting 9,999 Star Bits into the Bank, along with having Grandmaster Galaxy's Comet Medal, the final mission of the game will be unlocked. This one plays like "The Ultimate Test", but you only have 1 hit point as opposed to 3. You need to get through all six sections without getting hit once. Some edits are made here and there, such as Paragoombas being replaced by Choppahs in the first section and the Checkpoint Flag being removed. After defeating the three Boomerang Bros., a Launch Star will appear, sending you to a planet with Rosalina. She will give you the final Star of the game.
