Geralt of Rivia, Regis, and Syanna meet with Dettlaff, a higher vampire known as the Beast of Beauclair at the ruins of Tesham Mutna during The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt 4K Gameplay. This takes place during the main quest Tesham Mutna. Syanna is used to lure out Dettlaff and stop the vampire on the Palace and the city of Beauclair in The Duchy of Toussaint. Here, there are two alternate endings for Syanna and later for Geralt. This all depends on if you and visited the girl who sells flint in The Land of a Thousand Fables during the main quest Beyond Hill and Dale... and recovered Syanna's red ribbon from her and give it to Syanna. If Syanna has the red ribbon, she will survive Dettlaff's attack and go back to The Land of a Thousand Fables. If she does not have the red ribbon, Dettlaff will kill Syanna and Geralt will end up in a jail correctional facility ordered by Syanna's sister, Duchess Anna Henrietta.
