[Halo] - Halo 3: What's an aim?

A true day 1 experience. Sorry for the salt. Is controller aimbot? Is mouse and keyboard not viable? Is it because Halo 3 is 10-years old and in fact NOT "optimized for PC" like 343 told me? Is it because ActionWords is bad? Probably somewhere in between all of that. If you skip the introduction, basically: 1) these were among the first 3 matches I played on Halo 3 PC full release. 2) I played the controller match before the M&K match, hence the continuing salt. 3) hitreg just feels wonky to me as a whole, so maybe I'm just not used to Halo 3 as a whole.
