In the first Tekken game, he was the protagonist. But in this game, the roles have been reversed. Now he's the villain and you could say, he's pretty much the definitive villain of this series. He's also one of the most popular characters in the Tekken series, this is Kazuya Mishima. Kazuya is not a hero. Far from it. He's out for revenge against his father Heihachi. He actually succeeded in the first game and now rules the Mishima Zaibatsu with an Iron Fist. But it isn't until encountering Jun Kazama that sets up the events for Tekken 3 onwards. If you know Kazuya and play Kazuya, he's a no brainer. Tricky to use but rewarding to master. As for his fate, he wouldn't be in Tekken 3 but would return in Tekken 4 onwards.
