This Ramadan Countdown series is a daily reminder to reflect on the 99 Names of Allah (Al-Asmā’ al-Ḥusnā), helping us grow in faith, strengthen our connection with Allah ﷻ, and prepare our hearts for the blessed month of Ramadan. Learning and reflecting upon the Names of Allah is among the most noble acts of worship, because true love, hope, fear, and trust in Allah can only come through knowing Him. Allah says in the Qur’an: “Allah has the Most Beautiful Names, so call upon Him by them.” (Qur’an 7:180) “Allah—there is no god worthy of worship except Him. He has the Most Beautiful Names.” (Qur’an 20:8) “He is Allah: the Creator, the Inventor, the Shaper.
