Today we haul dried corn to our local Poet Ethanol Plant. We harvested this corn @ 22% moisture out of the field. We hauled it home and ran it through our drying systems to get the corn dried down to 15-16% Our Sukup 2413 Mixed Flow Grain Dryer is capable of: 2403 bushels per hr removing 5% moisture 1200 bushels per hour removing 10% moisture We use a Kongkskilde air system to blow dry corn to the bins after it comes out of the dryer. It requires 2 30Hp electric motors on 2 blowers to keep up with our dryer capacity.
