Clemson picked up an upset victory at home against No. 7 Virginia Tech, 64-59. In the first victory over a top 10 team since the turn of the century for Clemson, Amari Robinson led the way in scoring with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Freshman Ruby Whitehorn’s 13 points and 9 rebounds (including 5 on the offensive glass) were key contributions in the win. Cayla King’s 15 points led all Hokies in the loss.
