Today, an important meeting was held between Congress President Mr. Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of the Opposition Mr. Rahul Gandhi and the state presidents and CLP leaders from six states. These six states included Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra. The meeting discussed the India-US trade deal, which Narendra Modi has surrendered to. This trade deal will impact cotton, soybean, maize farmers, and fruit and nut producers in these six states. Congress will organize a farmers' conference regarding this, in which the Congress President and the Leader of the Opposition will participate. Dates for the farmers' conferences 👇 â€Ē February 24: Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) â€Ē March 7: Yavatmal (Maharashtra) â€Ē March 9: Sriganganagar (Rajasthan) Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi emphasized that this is a surrender by Prime Minister Modi. The first surrender occurred on May 10, 2025, when a sudden ceasefire occurred during Operation Sindoor. This trade deal will have a negative impact on the country's farmers. Therefore, in the first phase, we will raise our voices against the trade deal with farmer organizations in six states. : Congress General Secretary (Communications) Shri Jairam Ramesh 📍 Delhi Social media platforms of INC TV Facebook   / inctelevision   Twitter   / inc_television   Instagram   / inc_television   YouTube    / inctv Â
