Most Popular YouTube Videos Ever 2005 - 2025

In this data visualization I look at the most-viewed videos on YouTube since its inception. This is an update to my original video from 4 years ago. The top 10 haven't changed much since that video, but I did add more video teasers and original music. I also projected the numbers into January 2025 based on the views these past few months. Many of the earlier uploads have been deleted but their stats can still be accessed using archive.org . Those in which the counting stops were deleted or taken down by YouTube.
