Let it cool, then blend into a smooth puree. Heat some oil in a pan and lightly sear the paneer cubes on all sides with a pinch of salt, turmeric, and chili powder. Set aside. In the same pan, heat a little oil and add whole garam masala. Add the chopped onions and green chili, and sauté until golden brown. Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears. Add the prepared tomato-cashew puree, season with salt, sugar, and garam masala, kasuri methi and let it cook slowly on low heat for 15–20 minutes. Add the paneer cubes and simmer gently for 3–5 minutes so the flavors blend well.
