Here is a band that has stood the test of time. Watching these guys on stage, one can tell without a doubt that their desire to entertain is still alive and well. This is the most ‘fun’ band that I have ever seen. Lead singer, Ali Campbell, once commented that he treats his own vocals as another musical instrument rather than a voice. This can be clearly heard whenever he is on stage or in the studio. The song was originally recorded by Elvis Presley in 1962. The melody is based on "Plaisir d'amour", a classical French love song written in 1784 by composer Jean-Paul-Égide Martini. As a side note to this live performance in Rotterdam, it would appear that they are performing on a stage that was setup for a Pink Floyd concert. I have never known PF to have an opening band but if they were to have one, UB40 would be my choice.
