Is bone cancer curable? 👉This is certainly a very common question both in orthopedic oncologists' offices and around the world. Many patients, upon receiving a bone cancer diagnosis, believe that all is lost and that it is a death sentence, but a lot has changed in recent years. 👨⚕️Bone cancer can be cured, but each case is unique. Each patient has their own cure rate, depending on the type of tumor, its location, number of lesions, stage of the disease, local aggressiveness, and the patient's health, among other factors. 📽This video discusses various aspects of bone cancer patients. 🤕Bone cancer was once synonymous with a quick and painful end to life. Today, that has changed significantly. 👨💻With new diagnostic tests and advances in treatments, a person with bone cancer can be cured and live the same lifespan as someone without the disease. This is possible, especially in patients with primary and localized tumors who receive appropriate and early treatment. 🚨On the other hand, there are still cases of advanced-stage bone cancer. This can occur in cases of primary bone sarcomas or in severe cases of bone metastases, where life expectancy can be less than 1 year even with modern treatments. 📌The assessment of life expectancy, or prognosis, should be made individually, as each case has a different progression and treatment requirements. 👨⚕️ If you enjoy this type of content, subscribe to the channel: / @drdanielrebolledo 🔔 Subscribe to the channel for more free YouTube tips: / @drdanielrebolledo ✅ Recommended playlists: Bone Cancer • Câncer nos ossos tem cura?
