Clapping Game with Your Toddler ( Miss Mary Mack)

Clapping Game with Your Toddler ( Miss Mary Mack)

It is time to dust off your memory of clapping games! A few months ago I started teaching my youngest child ( three years old) an easy clapping game to lyrics, Miss Mary Mack. Not only did it bring us together for laughter and giggles it is great hand-eye coordination skills for her to practice. There are so many clapping games to play and this is one of the most simple to teach. Take your time and go slow and most importantly have tons of fun! With old children go faster and faster. Here are the lyrics : Miss Mary Mack Mack Mack All dressed in black, black, black With silver buttons, buttons, buttons All down her back, back, back. She asked her mother, mother, mother For 50 cents, cents, cents To see the elephants, elephants, elephants Jump over the fence, fence, fence. They jumped so high, high, high They reached the sky, sky, sky And they didn’t come back, back, back ‘Til the 4th of July, ly, ly!
