The sea is never too far out from our own doorstep and today's adventure was to find out how many fish species we can hook and release . We choose the firth of Clyde , not far away from the big city Glasgow . We all enjoy a challenge and always plan to do well using Technics and tactics , our team is strong and help is always at hand . The weather was fine to start with and almost dry , that deteriorated quickly . The fish species started to flow slowly , with pollock , goldsinny wrasse , cod , scorpion fish and then something stuck on my little jig lure , A Dragonnette . It was a first for me and although a small fish it looked electrifying . Happy with that I focused on some little sport with small pollock . And then we paddled across for more species . Mackerel were showing and we teamed up . Mackerel are exceptional , awesome fresh and the perfect bait we kept them all . The second life time catch was about to come up , two amazing fish species in one day , a dream come true . The Red band fish raised my eye brows , something out of the movies , the one near impossible to catch . We then progress onto thinning the mackerel stock , we had no sport this horrible year and made up for it . Thank you for watching our little kayak fishing channel . We love the great outdoors Scotland can provide . Paddle safe , live the life ..
