Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a hack and slash game developed by Platinum Games and produced by Kojima Productions, for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. Although a Japanese Xbox 360 version was planned, it was ultimately cancelled. According to series creator Hideo Kojima, the game's story is a parallel continuation, set four years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
