“Peace be with you who are favored.”

“Peace be with you who are favored.”

#OpenChurch #PastorKimSeongJin From the Sunday Sermon, January 11, 2026 "Peace, you who have received grace!" (Luke 1:26-38) Dear believers, in some ways, our lives are a series of bitter hardships, like Marah. Yet, as we live in this world, we can joyfully praise God because God calls us, through our bitter hardships, those who have received grace. People of the world ask us, "What are you doing?" Even though we may be criticized and sometimes persecuted, God is telling us, those of us who have embraced Jesus, that we have received His grace. Now, what we must confess before God is this: Lord, I pray that all the promises You have spoken will be fulfilled in my life. No matter what hardships and pains I may face in life, I will hold on to Your Word, this covenantal word that God has given me, and I will overcome these hardships. All believers must become those who confess, “I will enjoy the joy that God has given me in a life like Marah.”
