Lamb Kleftiko with potatoes 🍋💖💙 🤍 ⭐ 🏖️ 🐣

One of the most iconic Greek dishes, slow cooked lamb with lemon potatoes. This is a unique recipe which impresses with its simplicity and will remind you of a sunny Greek adventure! Ingredients: Lamb: • 1 kg lamb meat • marinade Marinade: • 80ml olive oil • 2 whole cloves garlic • 50 g mustard • 2 small lemon zest • 1 lemon juice • 10g thyme • 10g rosemary • 10g oregano • Salt, pepper • 1 tsp chili flakes • 2 tbsp honey • 40ml water Potatoes • 1 kg potatoes • 2 smashed garlic • 50ml olive oil • 1 lemon juice • 2-3 bay leaves • 5 g oregano • 5g rosemary • Salt, pepper • Aluminum foil, parchment paper Method: For the marinade 1. Mix in a blender olive oil, water, garlic, thyme, oregano, rosemary, mustard, chilli flakes, honey, lemon zest and juice, salt and pepper. Grind them to become a smooth mixture. For the potatoes 2. Place the potatoes in the baking tray, add the garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, bay leaves, oregano, rosemary, salt and pepper. For the lamb 3. Pour the marinade over the lamb and spread it with your hands and make sure that it goes everywhere. 4. Place the lamb on top of the potatoes and cover with parchment paper and foil. 5. Roast in a preheated oven at 160-180 ° C for about 2-3 hours, depending on the size of the piece we are cooking, until the meat softens and gets a nice colour. 6. If the lamb does not get colour, turn the oven to 180, take out the foil and cook it for a few minutes so that it gets a nice colour. 7. Enjoy!
