Algebraic Expressions, Constants, Variables Numerical and Literal Coefficients

ALGEBRAIC EXPRESSIONS – A variable, a number, or a collection of variables and numbers related by at least a fundamental operation or grouping symbol.  VARIABLE – a letter or symbol that represents an unknown number.  CONSTANT – a term in an algebraic expression that has a fixed value or no variable.  NUMERICAL COEFFICIENT- a number beside a letter/variable in an algebraic term.  LITERAL COEFFICIENT - a letter/variable used to represent a number in an algebraic expression.
