Wednesday's extended Cleveland weather forecast: Showers and storms today in Northeast Ohio

Cleveland weather forecast for Wednesday, July 17, 2024. We have quite a weather event that will occur today in northern Ohio. It doesn't happen often this time of year. A cold front. Yes, a cold front will move through the region, bringing a nice stretch of much lower humidity, comfortable temperatures and some sunshine! It all starts today with lingering downpours and a few thunderstorms this morning through early afternoon. By afternoon, we'll pick up a nice breeze with some sunshine breaking out as temps hover near 80. Tonight, we'll be comfortable with lows in the low to mid 60s under partly cloudy skies. Expect DAYS of comfortable humidity and temps with highs in the low to mid 70s Thursday, the upper 70s Friday and the low 80s Saturday. Expect lots of sunshine with high clouds floating through this upcoming weekend. Our next shot at rain arrives by the middle of next week with daily shower and storms returning. We could certainly use the rain as much of northern Ohio is still in a moderate drought. This next dry spell won't help the cause but the pattern does look a bit more unsettled with rain chances later next week. Here is your 3-day Cleveland weather forecast.
