Luke 13:10-12 says: “Now on the Sabbath, Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues, and a woman was there who had been sick because of a demon for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up. When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said to her, “Woman, you are freed from your illness.” A single word spoken by Jesus freed this 18-year-old woman from suffering. Many people suffer from illness for years and cannot easily break free, but Jesus said in Luke 10:19, “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; and nothing will hurt you.” It is time to break every cycle of curses in our lives and families. It is by using the name of Jesus against the wiles of the devil that we can stop the curses, cast out demons, and unleash a blessing on each particular area. Decide today to renounce all sinful practices so that you can face with authority the power of the curse and cast out every demon that wants to stop you in the name of Jesus.
