The next Grand Prix that I do is the Star Cup, and the tracks in that one are themed around ice, or some of the tracks in the Star Cup are. For this one, I go with Luigi, and the vehicle is Pipe Frame, and for stats, Luigi is an all-around character, much like Mario, and the Pipe Frame is all about acceleration, and it has average handling. The tracks for the Star Cup are DK Pass, Starview Peak, Sky-High Sundae, and Wario's Galleon, that is three retro tracks and one new track, DK Pass is from Mario Kart DS, Sky-High Sundae is a track from the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass, and it appeared in Tour, and Wario's Galleon, which is called Wario Shipyard outside of Europe, is from Mario Kart 7. As for the Star Cup, Rosalina is your rival, and her vehicle is the Stellar Sled, and it looks like she is the character that we will unlock after completing Star Cup. Going over the tracks, and to start it off is DK Pass, which was the first track in the Star Cup of Mario Kart DS, and the one change is the Glide Ramp which appeared in Mario Kart 7 when this track was a retro track in that game, it is now some Dash Panels. Starview Peak is a new track which is based on the Comet Observatory from Super Mario Galaxy, and Lumas appear in the background, and the track is similar to other tracks like Rosalina's Ice World in Mario Kart 7 and Ice Ice Outpost from Mario Kart 8. During the route to Starview Peak, it played the music for Vancouver Velocity from Mario Kart Tour, and the second lap on that route has Shy Guys skiing. As for the track itself, Starview Peak has some nice music, and there is one section of the track where you ride on the water and go through some rings to get a boost. Then after that is Sky-High Sundae, I don't know whether or not it is a Switch track or a Tour track, because its first appearance was in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass, and it appeared in Tour shortly after, and this is the only track that first appeared in either Mario Kart 8 or Mario Kart Tour to be a retro track in this game. The track is mostly the same as its appearance in those games, but there is no anti-gravity which this track made use of in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. During that route, it played a remix of the Slide theme from Super Mario 64, and after checking, that variant of the song comes from Paper Mario: Sticker Star. The last track is Wario's Galleon, or Wario Shipyard as it's called outside of Europe, and this track changed, they removed underwater driving and instead you drive on the water. During the route, you can see Freezie, those first appeared in Mario Bros., and they appeared on Sherbet Land in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, then you come across other enemies like the Ice Bros and the Ty-Foo as you drive across the water leading to Wario's Galleon. With the Flower Cup done, Rosalina is unlocked for completing it, she has always been an unlockable character in every Mario Kart game she has appeared in, the only exception was Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, but then again every character was available at the start in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
