A lovely coincidence in my experiments on Youtube! One version of this song has been rendered by MS Subbulakshmi in Mukhari, however, I've taken the most popular version (thanks, Amma!) and tried to make it my own. I was surprised to see how divided the community seems to be about the details of the songs - whether the Raga is Bhairavi or Mukhari, what exactly the lyrics are.
