Random bull dogging redux ∣ Cross Training Enduro shorty

We used to just warm up with static balancing and figure eights but now it's just very dodgy attempts at slow wheelies. Plenty of single track today, just what the doctor ordered. And there are few tricky steep descents so it's probably good to revisit the concept of bull dogging - how to work your bike down hills that would otherwise make you wet your pants. Here's the old vid. Bloody action cams, that barely looked like a descent at all! Steep descents can be a real mind game. Ben just rode down that section, but with the wet tree roots we weren't game. Enduro training tips are based on techniques from Chris Birch, Graham Jarvis, Tim Coleman and other hard enduro riders. So learn how to ride enduro bikes our vids range from basics for the beginner dirt rider to advanced hard enduro racing!! I always picture the front wheel sliding out, then over the bars, break a collar bone then have the bike land on top of me and wreck my dodgy knee. It's funny how I never pictured that sort of outcome a few years back, but the self preservation instinct has really kicked in lately. I used to fight this, but nowadays I realise that one bad accident could mean no riding, no vids and no income for a few months. Want to learn how to ride dirt bikes with our free enduro training videos? Cross Training Enduro is a mix of trials and dirt riding techniques. This dirt bike channel also includes lots of wheelies, philosophy, reviews, and dirt bike fails videos. Good to see Scotty looking smooth up ahead. But it was disappointing to find out he's been using performance enhancing drugs. A good thing with the cross training approach is the lack of serious injuries. Instead of speed, we take a more trials like approach. The challenge is to put a foot down as little as possible. So we fall off a lot, but it's just at a walking speed or less. Most of the time. Last week I had a guy ask me so what is this cross training thing anyway? The weird thing is he's been watching the vids for years but still didn't get it. I suggested he just look at the intro vid on our Youtube channel which explains it in great detail. The popularity of extreme enduro, endurocross and hard enduro events leads to cross training enduro - trials skills adapted to dirt riding on enduro bikes. Almost all of the best extreme riders are former trials champions. Balance in your dirt bike riding also means you can spend more time standing on the pegs in tough terrain instead of sitting down, so you will have far more control. It still baffles me that so many viewers ask me over and over again... have you done a training vid about wheelies? Riding in ruts? Hill climbs? In almost every case I say yes, a long time ago. Then they say can you give me the link? And I say no, just google it. Become a subscriber to this dirt bike channel for extreme enduro training tips vids with techniques from Graham Jarvis, Ruben Chadwick, and Tim Coleman on wheelies, pivot turns, clutch control, traction and other critical skills for learning how to ride a dirt bike videos for beginners or enduro racers. We also have enduro fail vids lol. And then they say they couldn't find it, could I find it for them? I get very tempted to suggest they get their mum to do it for them. Or alternatively I can pop over to their house and maybe clean up their room, spoon feed them dinner and then change their diaper. So I'll say it yet again, try google. Just put in Cross Training Enduro then add the topic. If I've made a vid, it will turn up. There's also a search function within the Youtube channel. On the rare occasion I haven't done a topic, they then tell me to do one. I don't respond well to demands so I'm usually tempted to suggest they have sex with themselves. If they ask nicely, I reply nicely, saying that I only take topic requests from supporters as I can barely keep up with those. Thanks for the recent feedback about the vids looking better than usual. Learning how to film, and then edit, is a steep learning curve! I've been learning more about post production which is fine tuning the audio and video content to improve it as much as possible. It's really time consuming but I think it's worth it. A few years back I would belt out a video with one day's work but it frequently takes four days now. So even though I've got much faster at editing, I've discovered all these cool editing features that mean it takes even longer.
