What is swine flu (H1N1) virus

Swine flu is a dangerous disease caused by infected pigs and animals. In India it has become an issue of concern recently when a number of people were found infected of H1 N1 virus which is responsible to cause swine influenza. In 2015 Indian states like Rajasthan and Tamilnadu and their cities like Jaipur, Ajmer, and Hyderabad etc. were found having significantly growing number of patients and deaths within a short period of time caused by swine flu. Government of India is working hard to control the deadly virus by providing all the necessary facilities and amenities in each district, also organising check-up camps and offering free Ayurveda medicine to cure the disease. Don’t forget to subscribe for more videos. स्वाइन फ्लू जिसे शूकर इंफ्लुएंज़ा भी कहते हैं पशुओं एवं मनुष्यों में होने वाला एक अत्यंत संक्रामक रोग है। स्वाइन फ्लू वास्तव में सूअरों को होने वाले सर्दी जुकाम अर्थात फ्लू को कहते हैं। चूंकि फ्लू एक संक्रामक रोग होता है इस लिए संक्रमित सूअरों के संपर्क में आने वाले पशुओं एवं मनुष्यों को भी यह रोग होने की प्रचुर संभावना रहती है। इस फ्लू के लिए उत्तरदायी विषाणु 4 प्रकार के होते हैं जिन में से एच1एन1 विषाणु अत्यंत घातक होता है। मनुष्यों में इस विषाणु के प्रति रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता बहुत कम पायी जाती है, इसी कारण यह रोग मनुष्यों में प्राण घातक होता है। जब भी इस रोग से संक्रमित व्यक्ति या पशु छींकता है तो वह अपने भीतर से अनेक विषाणुओं को वायुमंडल में उत्सर्जित कर देता है। इस समय इस वायु के संपर्क में आने वाले लोगों को इस रोग का संक्रमण होने के सर्वाधिक अवसर रहते हैं। यह विषाणु जब ठोस सतह पर आते हैं तो वे 24 घंटों तक उसी स्थान पर जीवित रह सकते हैं। जब कोई व्यक्ति इस ठोस सतह के संपर्क में आता है तो उस व्यक्ति को संक्रमण हो सकता है।
