All of us as little children, either through media, sports, or in our imagination, find a Hero. As a child, it had to be my Dad who could literally do anything. Our family depended on Dad and our existence was put on his shoulders. Food, clothing, shelter, and harmony-happiness were Dad’s job. I got older and involved in sports and I looked at these guys I saw on the television. Bart Star, Johnny Unitas, Y.A. Title, Roger Marris, Bill Russell, etc. The movies produced John Wayne while television gave me Andy Griffith, Dick Van Dyke, James Arness, and the list goes on ending in Elvis. I got even older and became a husband-father-business person and my Hero changed. It became the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior and all who truly follow and obey Him. My Hero today is Christ and the Saints who desire to follow Him. Hello and welcome to our 11am Sunday morning service. Our message will be brought to you by Bro.
