It feels good to kick off the new year right with an amazing card — UFC 324: Justin Gaethje vs Paddy Pimblett, with the co-main Sean O’Malley vs Song Yadong. We start the video flying out of Oregon, where I was visiting my mom. From there we land in San Francisco, do a little homework, and watch Embedded in the international lounge while getting ready for an 11.5-hour flight to Tokyo. Yes — we’re moving to Japan. The TwoTime HQ in Las Vegas is officially closed, and a new chapter in Japan begins. While settling in, I’m doing my homework on the bets and fighters for the weekend, all while exploring Japan. Same UFC Saturdays… except now we’re watching Sundays at 8AM in Japan 🤣. I’m watching on U-NEXT, since the new Paramount+ deal is USA only. I’m excited to see what this new deal brings long-term. Running around Tokyo with my girl, wearing some of the hardest UFC fits Japan has ever seen. Betting recap: We missed our main bets and had to hit a recovery slip, cashing a solid 5-way parlay. Overall for UFC 324, we finished -$105, but since the recovery hit and the main slip only missed by one, I’ll take that as a successful event.
