Good medals (9-stars with the right extra traits) strengthen your character by a lot! Here are some quick guides: Generally, only 3 extra traits are really useful for ALL characters, which are ATK, DEF, and HP. For CRIT, it’ll only be useful for characters that has ‘Increase CRT up to 500%’ etc. For Attackers and Runners, it’s generally more useful to use ATK and HP on the medals. DEF is more suitable to be used by Defenders. Event medals (the pink colored) are only available for a limited time. Once the event has passed, you’ll never get the chance to craft them anymore. Character ranking medals (the full colored) can only be craft when you get to be that character’s top 500 in the rank, for few times. If you have the character that you wanna craft its medal, but you don’t wanna use that character in league, then the other quick option you have is to play that character in 60-Second Battle. You’ll get the character medal’s fragment and thus be able to craft it. How to know medals with which traits to use for which characters? It depends on the characters’ advantage. Runners for example, is better and faster at capturing flags. So at Craft use ‘Filter’ and choose ‘Capture Speed’. There, you can choose to craft the medals you have available, with the trait of ‘Capture Speed’. For Attackers that are good at dealing damage, you can go for ‘Damage Increase’ or ‘ATK Increase’ at the Filter and choose available medals. For Defenders that are good at taking damage, you can choose ‘Damage Reduction’ or ‘DEF Increase’ at the ‘Filter’ and choose the available medals.
