Basim locates the stronghold of Nimlot and infiltrates to the inner tower. There, he discovers that Nimlot was the son of a man named Al-Ghul who was assassinated by the Hidden Ones. He expresses his anger by threatening Basim's father. Basim lands a killing blow, leaving Nimlot lying. However, his father does not recognize him. This does not deter him as he is glad to be in his father's presence once more. They share a sunrise at the nearby tomb, and his father bids farewell. At least Basim knows that he is alive and well!
